2026 marks the inaugural running of the Southern Cross 24 Hour, now in its own home at the beautiful Felixtow Reserve in Adelaide.

Looping past the wetlands and along the banks of the River Torrens (Karrawirra Parri), Felixstow Reserve is northeast of the city centre, and offers a shaded, fast, flat loop.

With a line up of races to choose from – 24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours and 3 hours – the course is measured at and certified to international standard.

Proudly brought to you by Phoenix Running Australia, who are also bringing you the Australian 6 Day Ultra Marathon Festival at Thorndon Park, September 27th-October 3rd 2026.

Race Director – Nancy Williams

Nancy has been running for over 20 years. She ran her first City to Bay in 2004 and has barely stopped since. Her passion for ultra running developed in 2016 and since then, she’s completed a stack of ridiculous races over some absolutely ridiculous distances.

Over the past 12 months, Nancy has turned her passion for the sport into a career. She now works full-time as the Event Manager for Ultra Series SA. She also started Phoenix Running Australia specifically to ensure the Australian 6 Day Ultra Marathon Festival continued, and pursue her dream of setting up the Southern Cross 24 Hour.

Nancy is currently qualifying to be a Personal Trainer and Running Coach. She believes that anyone and everyone can run regardless of their age, abilities or life circumstances.
